There are two kinds of cutlet bowls, such as demigrass sauce and egg-bound, and you can choose between cutlet and fillet cutlet, and you can get your favorite bowl.

I got a demi katsu bowl, but the taste may be closer to miso katsu than to a demi katsu. The source is more like a paste than a source. But it's delicious and I want to go again. The shop is a beautiful place with a calm feeling. I think it was on TV.

Meal was pretty good and really liked the calm ambient.

Why, for God's sake, is this place rated so low? Mind blowing food. Mind blowing! Very nice atmosphere and relatively cheap too.

No frills katsudon shop. The demiglaze sauce is made from beef and is a local flavor and favorite. You order from a vending machine and sit down communal style. It’s only 700-1100yen for a meal.

Sauce was thick, has a deep rich flavor, however the pork filled was too thin, thus lacking the pork flavor and texture

If you’re a Tonkatsu fan like myself, this is the best one you can get in Okayama. You should try the menu set, it’s super delicious.

Nice ambience, serving both katsu don with egg and demi katsu don. I order both small portion and cost 1100. Comes with miso soup and side dish. Portion of meat was small. Wish it was bigger. Came in winter on a tues night and restaurant was quite empty.

The pork cutlet itself is okay however the demi-glace sauce was way too salty.Portion was on the smaller size too.Will leave my review at 3 stars however I would rate it 2.5.

Great food, great service. We made a pitstop on our way to Shodoshima here. On our way back to Kyoto and Tokyo, we just had to come here again. Both times the food and service was perfect.

I heard that it was a popular store, so it was over 11am. As expected, I could sit with plenty of room, but the customers visited the store one after another during the meal, so I went early and was correct. There is a vending machine as soon as you enter the store, so you buy a meal ticket there, but it seems better to decide the crowded time beforehand in the menu table outside the store. I ordered a loin. A set of half of cutlet bowl and half of Demigrass bowl. They were both delicious. When you eat one, you think that the other is udon.

Okayama's specialty is the birthplace of Demikatsu-don, a shop you should visit once. The service is not bad if you don't like the specialties without good taste, but the service is not bad, but it will be good for a while, why? Go and check

Egg and don - nice. We go the half and half and the tenderloin large. The loin is nicer with fat and the usually don with egg is really nice. We din quite appreciate the demo glaze sauce but it was still nice anyway !

Visit store during business tripWe had Domigrass Sauce Katsudon on the shop's signboard menu.The sauce is very rich and likely to be addictive.Next time, I'd like to eat Domigrass Sauce Katsudon and Egg Toji Katsudon Son-zen.

Everything is in Japanese. But manageable for foreigners. Put in the cash into machine and select the picture. The Demi sauce was thick and had a bit of jajang flavor. A bit pasty though. Busy restaurant but line moves fairly fast.

We got a combined set with katsu Don and katsu with demiglaze sauce. Both dishes were quite good, not the best Tonkatsu by any stretch but good value for money. You have to order at the vending machine first (there is an English menu which tells you what each number is) and put your name down if it is busy.

The clerk is very kind. There are two choices for servings, small ones are just right for girls. The sauce has a strong beef flavor and is smooth, and the jade is very tender. There are two parts of pork ribs. You can choose the meat in the waist, which is leaner and leaner.

This could be an excellent restaurant in Okayama City. The staff were great, the ordering process was easy and the restaurant was quite ambient. Unfortunately, I did not appreciate the flavour of the demi-katsudon at all. The sauce was very thick and lacked an enjoyable flavour. The pork itself tasted good though. The beer was served in bottles only and was one of the few average tasting Japanese beers one would buy. I would definitely give this place another go though to try the original katsudon.

A system where you buy a voucher and sit down.A small number of people will be sharing a seat due to congestion, but a clerk on the way home thank you. And words with consideration were good.I think Demigrass sauce is my favorite, but at first I felt unsatisfactory, but it was a sauce that was just right for rice without any fuss and I could eat it all the way through.Most of the time, butter and so on made me feel uncomfortable with the fat from the middle, and I was able to eat the rest.Normal, child, grandchild, and other sizes are available.

I ordered the egg katsudon bowl and it was excellent. If you binge ate all-day this is a great place to go to since you can order half portions. They have an english menu available. You pay at the machine when you get in and service is really fast. I really recommend the place if you visit Okayama. The restaurant is on the 1st floor.
